Hi, my name is
Adham Khalifa.
About Me
Hello! My name is Adham and I am a senior Computer Science student at Connecticut College.
I enjoy coding anything that can solve problems or make life easier.
My top interest is vision-based application development.
In high school, I founded the Egyptian chapter of Hack Club to spread the culture of high school coding clubs all over Egypt.
During my time at Connecticut College, I have been involved in a number of projects, ranging from web development to computer vision. This summer, I am working at Sourcegraph as a Software Engineer intern. Here are a few technologies I have worked with:
- Python
- Java
- C/C++
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- React
- TypeScript
- Django
- Node.js
- MongoDB
- Heroku
- OpenCV
- Unity
- Matlab
- PyTorch
Where I've Worked
Some Things I've Built
Braille Detector
In this project, I tried to detect Braille characters on a piece of paper and convert it back to original text.
COVID-19 Plasma Live
I built a website with an interactive map for people who recovered from covid-19 and were willing to donate their plasma. It wasn't put into action in the US because of the health privacy rules, but was used internally in a hospital abroad.
Cashify
I built a machine learning-based iOS application to help the visually-impaired know the value of a cash bill by taking a picture of it. It currently supports US Dollars and Colombian Pesos.
